What is Maintenant Festival?
Organized by the Electroni[k] association, the Maintenant festival comes back this year for its 18th edition. This association from Rennes aims at making accessible all the emerging cultures and innovating art practices. And we find all of these during the Maintenant festival!
During 10 days (from 12 a.m. until midnight), from 5 to 14 October, the Maintenant festival invites you to discover the city of Rennes and its surroundings through different event and shows related to art, music and technologies.

MAINTENANT FESTIVAL PROGRAMME
The Maintenant festival is not a festival like any other… Indeed, this festival from French Brittany offers a wide and rich programme, mixing art, music and technologies.
So you will attend to concerts and performances from French artists but also artists from the whole World. The Maintenant festival also offers conferences, immersive experiences or even graphic exhibitions. A beautiful programme!
Note that some shows are free and in free access, but it is strongly recommended to reserve your place (even compulsory for the conferences) as the available places are limited! Furthermore, other programmes are chargeable so do not forget to reserve your tickets (online or in sale points) 😉
MAINTENANT FESTIVAL SITES
The Maintenant festival has the particularity to be organized in different sites in the city of Rennes, but also in other neighboring municipalities such as Pacé, Châteaugiron or Bruz.
The core site of the Maintenant festival is the Théâtre du Vieux Saint Etienne, located in the city center of Rennes. It is in this place that you can meet the organizing team of the festival to get all the important information and the ticket office. You can also find several shows in this place: concerts, exhibitions, workshops… It is in the Théâtre du Vieux Saint-Etienne where the festival inauguration takes place (October 5 at 7.30 p.m.)!
Many other major places of the Breton capital are spotlight during the Maintenant festival to receive various shows: the Parlement de Bretagne, the Musée des Beaux-Art (Fine Arts Museum), the Opera of Rennes, the Couvent des Jacobins, the well-known Lices market, the famous stand of the Thabor park and many other places. It is also an opportunity for all Rennes citizens to discover again their city from a new angle!
